We are proud to use Lycon precision wax. Using only the finest resins, natural ingredients along with aromatherapy oils, Lycon delivers superior performance, removing stubborn hair as short as 1mm.

A Lycon wax is 50% less painful than other wax making it the perfect choice for all of our intimate waxing using only the Lycon hot wax.

PLEASE NOTE INTIMATE WAXING WILL NOT BE CARRIED OUT ON ANYONE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD. UNDER 18’S NEED A PARENT/ GUARDIAN PRESENT FOR STANDARD BIKINI WAXING 

Lycon Bikini Wax Menu

Lycon hot wax is used in all of our intimate waxing.

Standard Bikini wax– A standard bikini wax is a basic shaping of pubic hair into a neat upside-down triangle shape to the edge of the panty line. From £22

G-String Wax–  This wax takes the sides of the bikini line in deeper than a regular bikini wax leaving a more defined triangle with narrower edges £25

Brazilian Wax– A Brazilian wax takes away all the hair off the bikini line leaving a small strip on the front. Hair is removed from the front all the way round to the bottom area. £44

Hollywood Wax– The Hollywood wax removes all hair from the front, round to the bottom – complete hair removal. £45

Advice Prior to Waxing

• First time waxes, allow your hair to grow approximately 1/4″ (roughly 2 weeks after shaving)
• First timers for intimate waxing, please trim the hair to approximately 1/2″. Any longer and the wax will be more uncomfortable
• Avoid all heat treatments 12-24 hours prior to any waxing treatment
• Waxing cannot be carried out if you are taking the following medication: Retin-A (tretinoin), Roaccutane, Benzoyl Peroxide
• Exfoliate twice a week for a few weeks prior to waxing and in-between waxing to prevent ingrowing hairs
• Use our Lycon after wax soothing lotion daily to prevent ingrowing hairs
• Most importantly relax, our therapists are highly skilled and professional. We will ensure you feel as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment with us.

Permanent hair removal with Sterex Electrolysis:

Lift Beauty Clinic has specialised in electrolysis for 30 years and are widely recognised as the specialists within Suffolk.

Electrolysis is for the permanent removal of facial and body hair using Sterex disposable needles, utilising short wave diathermy or ultra-blend systems, according to the needs of your condition, ensuring maximum results with minimum discomfort. Electrolysis is suitable for both female and male clients and any skin type. We are the specialists in Ipswich for electrolysis and advanced electrolysis.

However, Intimate waxing is the only exception to this, we are trained only in the female anatomy intimate wax and as such can not offer this for all clients . Privacy for our clients is paramount which is why all of our treatments are carried out in private rooms.

Please note that our therapists time is precious failure to cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee being charged. Failure to give 24 hours notice or less will result in 100% charge. Failure to attend an appointment booked on-line will result in a 100% cancellation charge. If you do not attend an appointment you will no longer be able to book without paying the full amount of the appointment upfront.

Our treatments require us to ask about medical history to determine whether it is suitable/safe for you, please note this is standard procedure to enable us to carry out safe treatments.  Please advise us at the time of booking if you have any medical conditions, are currently receiving any medical care, are taking medication or have suffered with cancer with in the past 5 years as this may restrict the treatment.
